I've got a quick card share today! We were lucky enough to receive a couple of embossing folders and a large doily die from Couture Creations to create with Core.
An idea formed in my head to piece together an embossed background using different colours of cardstock. My first step was Pinterest to find a gorgeous colour combination:
I then went through my stash of Core'dinations cardstock to find matching colours and got creating!
To create the background with the continuous embossed background, I cut the pieces first and carefully lined them up in the embossing folder before running it through my Big Shot. I then gave each piece a sand and adhered them on the card base, lining the pattern up again as I went.
And because I rarely just create one of a card, here's another the same but with the two shaded of grey swapped.
