It's Friday! Yay! Not only does it mean the weekend is almost here but it also means a NEW sketch is revealed at Inspired Blueprints!
I was excited when I saw this sketch as I LOVE multi photo layouts! Here's my interpretation of the sketch:
You can see I dove right on in my stash of Maggie Holmes for Crate Paper! Gosh I love this colour combination! I've layerd up some gorgeous patterns and used the smaller patterns from the 6x6" paper pads for the panels on the main block.
The sketch had ribbon through the centre but I substitued some patterned paper strips and this gorgeous die cut that I shaped a bit to give dimension.
The sketch had the date in this little cluster but since the date was in the photo (lol!) I just added a word sticker and a '4' die cut as she's four years old! And how old is that mirror heart???
The scallop border is a fabric strip that I've coloured with my new favourite mists, ColorShine from Heidi Swapp (this colour is Mustard). To get the darker yellow, I sprayed heaps of mist, really saturating the strip and I simply sprayed lightly over the smaller strip to make it a bit softer yellow. I heated them with my heat tool to dry them quickly too!
So fun!
